Vaping With Asthma

Posted on | June 26, 2017 | No Comments

Never smoked. Had asthma since a kid. I've found that vaping (1.5mg nicotine) has actually helped my breathing issues. At my last checkup, the doctor did a peak flow test. I can inhale much more air now and need my inhaler less. Like, almost never. He said the practice of slowly inhaling, holding the vapor, then slowly exhaling has done wonders. Take that, asthma!

Pico problem – How accurate are mods’ resistance measurements?

Posted on | June 26, 2017 | No Comments

My Pico doesn't seem to be reading my coil's resistance properly. It's reading a coil 0.1 ohm below my VTwo Mini (which agrees with my NX75 and, more importantly, my ohmmeter and my steam engine calculations, so I have no doubt it's the Pico and not the Mini that's off).

It doesn't seem to have a problem with TC. Despite the discrepancy, I'm getting the same vape at the same temperature settings I was using on the Mini. Nonetheless, I'm a bit wary of using the Pico if it can't read…

Tips to Choose the Right e-liquids

Posted on | June 22, 2017 | No Comments

It does not matter whether you are new to vaping or have some experience, you must be aware that the e-liquids are available in different types. But high chances are there that you may not be aware of all these types and the fact that which one you should choose. Tobeco Super Tank TC Coils or other suggestions

Posted on | June 12, 2017 | No Comments

I recently purchased a Tobeco super tank 25mm after seeing it recommended a few times for tc vaping with factory coils. However, given the vast selection of factory coils that will fit this tank, I was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation for either some of the SS could or Ni200 coils so I may narrow down my purchase choice. I'm trying to get as close to the vape I got off my Crown I in tc (Crown III wouldn't cooperate in tc).

And on a side note, should there be any 25mm tanks I…

Hi ECFers.

DPL and I are starting this thread, tho we would have preferred the honors go to @Jim-, who was the inspiration for our purchase.

Out of Scotland came Sean Connery, Gordon Ramsay, golf, kilts, Haggis, Glenfiddich (or “Livet”), and now, for our vaping pleasure, the absolutely sensational device known as the JAC Vapour Series-B DNA 75w has also landed into our eager hands.

Let’s discuss this most amazing piece of equipment! Feel free to share your experiences…

Hi all, I am having problems with the battery door of the IPV8. It opens too easily and sometimes unexpectedly. I was wondering if anyone has the same problem and if there is a fix or even a just a remedy for this problem.

Thanks.

Ijoy Captain PD270 – 20700 dual battery

Posted on | June 6, 2017 | No Comments

Saw that iJoy is getting into the 20700 battery mods with the Captain PD270. Dual battery and can also use 18650s (according to the specs). Seems to be the typical iJoy chip and features.

I like the look and the fact that it can support a 30mm atty without overhang. More details on their website at: IJOY Captain PD270 234W Dual 20700 BOX MOD

According to a short video on their FB page, they also seem to going to release a 20700 mech…

eVic VTwo mini Temperature Control problems

Posted on | June 1, 2017 | No Comments

Greetings,

I am experiencing an issue with my eVic VTwo Mini that I bought recently.
I cannot make the Temperature Mode work correctly.
I am using Stainless Steel 316 wire, an I have also tried with Ni wire.
Everything seems set correctly, the atomizer is detected and Ohms are correct, I set the desired temperature and wattage that I wish to use in Temp mode. But when I press the fire button, the evic fires and on the screen its constant 21Celsius and the wattage is set at 30watts. It…
